Graduating from Kean University in 2000, I received my BFA in Studio Art. I specialized in painting and studied painting restoration in Florence, Italy which led me to my first retouching job. I worked for a high end portrait photographer for over 15 years. I began retouching the old school way, with colored pencils and watercolor directly on the prints. Changing with the digital age, teaching myself Photoshop and in time, other programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and Power Point. Photoshop is my favorite program! I prefer retouching but have done quite a bit of design work ranging from network to print. Logos for small businesses, invitations and stationary, business cards, even tattoos for friends is what I have done but not all I can do. I love learning new things while growing my ability and portfolio. I currently freelance for CNBC as a network artist where I have worked on and off for over 17 years.
